Mordy Greenland
Program Director
What’s up Camp Chai! My name is Mordy Greenland and I’m super excited to be a part of Camp. I’m currently in Yeshiva University and finished up 2 years in Yeshiva Shaalvim. Over the past few summers I’ve been Head of Sports at NCSY Kollel and a counselor at Yeshivas Hakayitz. I love being able to have an impact on the Jewish future. Some of my favorite things to do are play softball, snowboard, or anything else with my friends. See you all in June!
Ephraim Azose

Hey everyone! My name is Ephraim Azose (but everyone calls me Fromage!!!) I went to Skokie Yeshiva for high school, then 3 years in Yeshivas Bais Yisroel in Israel. I'm insanely pumped to be back in Camp Chai for my 2nd year running. Something you should know about me is that I'm obsessed with camp. It's actually my favorite thing in the world. Also, if anyone knows more Disney Trivia than me, I'll buy you a slurpee. (But there's no chance you do!) Can't wait to see everyone in June! #CHAICHAICHAI
Yair Chinn

Hi! My name is Yair Chinn. I went to the Skokie Yeshiva for high school and then Yeshivat Netiv Aryeh for two years. I am currently in my first year at YU. I am so excited to be participating in the first year of Camp Chai! Over the last few years, I've worked at day camps in Chicago, and developed bonds with my campers and co-workers. I love baseball, music and roller coasters. I'm super pumped for this summer year at Camp Chai!

Hey everybody! My name is Avi Elkaim.
I went to Fasman Yeshiva for High School and afterwards started working. I'm currently a teachers assistant at Yeshiva Tiferes Tzvi and Arie Crown Hebrew Day School. I've worked at other camps before and have made bonds with campers and co-workers. I love the summer and can't wait to see everyone soon!
Noam Weissman
2nd Grade Division Head
Hi! My name is Noam Weissman. I am currently in YU studying Finance. I went to Ida Crown for high school and then learned in Israel for two years in Yeshivat Mevaseret. I have previously worked as a counselor in the JCC and in Yeshivas Hakayitz. My favorite part of camp is the connections that are created between counselors and their campers and I can't wait to be apart of that again at Camp Chai this summer. See you guys soon!
Zack Miller
4th Grade Division Head
Hi! My name is Zack Miller, and I'm super excited to be back at Camp Chai for my third year! I'm 20 years old and just finished my second year at Yeshiva Mevaseret in Israel. I'll be starting college soon, but for now, I'm looking forward to another amazing summer at camp. I love working with kids and helping them have the best time, and I'm all about creating a fun, positive, and safe environment for everyone. Can't wait to meet the campers and make this summer unforgettable!
Hi everyone, my name is Jed Marcus. I am currently learning in Israel at Yeshivat Har Etzion. I am super excited to come back for my third year in a row! Outside of camp, I love to play sports especially baseball and enjoy being outside. I can’t wait to be back and see everyone this summer!!

Hi my name is Adi Seruya and I just finished Shana Bet at Torat Shraga. I had the privilege of working as a counselor at Camp Chai for the past 2 summers. I really enjoyed camp and seeing all of the campers come everyday with a smile on their face. This year I have the privilege of being a division head for 5/6th grade and I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure that every kid has a great summer experience!

Hi! My name is Adam Schwartz. After learning for a year at Yeshivat Torat Shraga, I am now studying accounting in YU. I am so excited to be a counselor this year at Camp Chai as I had an amazing time the past couple summers here.
I had the best campers and made great relationships with them that I have kept throughout the years. My favorite camp memory from last summer is doing card tricks for my campers and seeing the look on their faces as I perform them. I hope to continue making these memories for summers to come at Camp Chai!

Hi my name is Davey Jakubowski! I am a senior at Fasman Yeshiva High School. My favorite sport is basketball. I worked at Camp Chai last summer and can't wait to another epic summer together!

Hello, my name is Yoni Rosenberg and I am currently an 12th grader at Yeshiva Bnei Akiva New Tamid in Chashmonaim, Israel.
I play basketball and baseball and love all sports. For the past two years, I have been
a Bnei Akiva madrich for 1st-3rd graders
here in Chashmonaim. In addition to sports,
I like learning Torah and sharing my love
for Israel. Last summer, I worked at
Moshava Ba'ir in Chicago and loved it!

Stone Schwartz
Counselor
Hi everyone, I'm Stone Schwartz. I'm 19 years old and a freshman studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of Maryland. I would say a fun fact about me is that I have a twin brother, but you all know that guy. This past summer, I was a counselor at Moshava Ba'ir and had 2nd-3rd grade boys. If you have ever seen me at carpool, you know that is one of my favorite parts of the camp day. Seeing all the campers' smiles as they can't wait to tell their parents what they did that day. It is also a time in which I have the opportunity to see campers that I do not see during the day.​ Each summer I have had the best time of my life and that is why this year I am joining the newest camp in Chicago, Camp Chai.
A note about me is that I have many food and air-born allergies and am highly trained in using Epi-pens, identifying allergic reactions, and making sure your children only eat things they are not allergic to.
Sutton Schwartz

Hi, I am a Sutton Schwartz and I am a freshman in college at Indiana University. There is no place I'd rather be than at camp. I love sports, Disney movies, and making up games with campers! I have been a camp counselor for 5 years. I can't promise the campers will be clean, but I can promise they will have fun! I am super excited for the opening year of Camp Chai this summer!

I am 18 years old and was born and raised in Israel until I was 11 years old. I am currently in Yeshivat Shaalvim in Israel. I love sports, especially hockey, and I am looking forward to an amazing summer at Camp Chai! I can't wait to meet you all!

How's it going Camp Chai! My name is Noam Greenland, and I'm unbelievably hyped to be a counselor for my 2nd year at camp. I just finished 2 amazing years in Yeshivat Mevaseret Tzion in Eretz Yisrael. I'll be starting college in the Fall at Lander College for Men. I've worked for Mikor groups for about 2 years and I love working with kids. A few things I enjoy doing are playing softball, skiing, and hanging out with friends. I know for a sure fact that this summer will be unbelievable. Can't wait to see all of you in June!

Ephraim Wiesenberg
Camp Rabbi
Hi! My name is Ephraim Wisenberg. I recently graduated from Yeshiva University with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, and I am now a Kollel Fellow, learning in the YU Torah Mitziyon Kollel, starting this fall. Aside from my love of learning and teaching Torah, I also love baseball and music. I'm so excited to be the Camp Rabbi this year and have a chance to learn and grow with our campers in the first ever year of Camp Chai!
Michelle Drucker
Michelle Drucker has degrees in both art education and art therapy. She and Sharon Schwartz have been taking art classes since they were kids and are so happy to bring that experience to our campers. Through interesting projects and personalized options, we can't wait for our campers to be creative, try something new, and have lots of fun!
